Psalm 126:3

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

The Gift of Life

I didn't give you the gift of life, But in my heart I know. The love I feel is deep and real, As if it had been so. For us to have each other, Is like a dream come true! No, I didn't give you The gift of life, Life gave me the gift of you.

It's Official!!

Anna's adoption has been finalized today. What a joy and relief! I can't believe this journey we have been on to get here. Anna has really bonded with all of us. She's so cute the way she interacts with her daddy, squinting her eyes to give him the "love eyes". I've heard him call her his "favorite girl" and she just calls him "dadda". I feel so blessed by my family. Each child is so unique and special. We can't imagine our lives without any of them.

By the way, suckers were passed out to the children after adoptions are finalized. I guess to literally make the family "stick together".

Have a great week!

Ancient Chinese Secret

Do you remember the old "calgon" commercials-the scene at the laundromat and the lady asks "how do you get your shirts so clean, Mr. Lee?" His reply, "ancient Chinese secret". Then the wife shouts out from the back, "we need more Calgon". Well, I was going to pre-wash one little girl's shirt--but I think she beat me to it. And her shirt did wash clean. :)

The last photo was just a cute photo op of Anna with a mouthful of raisins.

Daddy's Little Helper

Anna has been a great helper around the house. She not only helps put clothes down the laundry shoot, she even helped Matt install the dishwasher. Sorry, I couldn't capture the moment of her sitting on his back while he was actually doing the hook up and bouncing on him as if he were a horse. Kids, you just gotta love doing home projects with them.

Have a great week!

Let Me See

Here's our little problem solver at work. She's using a Sam's animal cracker container to see what's in the sink. I believe she came up with this idea herself.

Full House-in a nut shell

Here's a few pictures from the past week. Anna somehow managed to take a nap in a bed full of toys, thanks to the help from her brothers. We had my sister, Gabby here visiting us and looking into colleges. We tried Pointer's pizza. This place claims to sell the largest delivered pizza and I do believe it does. Check out the size of the carry out box. We still have slices in the fridge. Last but not least, the big day back to school. The boys were so excited to go. Ben was a bit disappointed that he didn't get to also.

Have a great week. What beautiful weather we are having.

Dog Days of Summer

We made a trip to the Grandma and Grandpa Woodall's and swam with our cousin, Kyla. You don't need a lot of room for fun, just plenty of water.

The countdown for school starting is well under way. Only 8 days!! Ben is also counting down the days till his 4th birthday. He'd be glad to show anyone what he would like in the toy aisle.

Keep cool!
