Psalm 126:3
The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
The Gift of Life
I didn't give you the gift of life, But in my heart I know. The love I feel is deep and real, As if it had been so. For us to have each other, Is like a dream come true! No, I didn't give you The gift of life, Life gave me the gift of you.

Someone special is having a Birthday SOON!
Hopefully, our broken camera will be replaced and we will post some new pictures. It's hard to believe our little girl is almost 2!! She is doing so much. I have to laugh when asked how well she understands our language. Oh, she understands it very well. Last week, I thought she was calling Matt, "mom" and he said, "no, she's calling me "Matt". I would have figured it out when she called me "Dale" (close enough). That silly girl.

January in Review
Whew! What a week. I'm ready to end this month. We've had a lot of germs in our house. Just when we thought it was only Carter with the flu-Nolan gets spots, which was chicken pox. Ben and I also had the flu this week too. Unfortunately we had to cancel Anna's hair appointment due to our quarantine. So we tried a new "up do" so she doesn't have her bangs in her eyes.
Highlights--Carter had his 7th birthday. Nolan's is in 2 weeks-a big 9.
Have a great week-stay well!

Christmas, came and went
A much anticipated Christmas was finally upon us. To think, that last year we were waiting on pins and needles to find out about our Anna. And now she's been in our arms for over 8 months. Wow! All of the kids really enjoyed Christmas, visiting with family. Notables, Ben finally got his most coveted, "green light sabre". Anna got a baby stroller, which of course her and Carter have tried to sit in, but to no success. They've realized that only baby dolls can fit. Nolan received an art set-so he's been creating masterpieces. The countdown to school is already on. The kids are really out of sync with their days (Matt and I are too).
Wishing everyone blessings for the New Year!

Our Christmas Decorator
Anna has enjoyed decorating our tree, over and over...She's very pleased with herself. I too was a bit surprised at how many ornaments she could get on a single branch, looks like the record is up to 6. She has even added some of her toys to hang on the tree. The other cute things she is doing is--singing and counting (up to 10).
Hope everyone is staying warm and dry and not getting overly stressed by Christmas coming. Have a great week.

Happy November
Sorry to those following our journey--we took a hiatus for a while but pictures have been taken. To get everyone back on track. For Halloween, Anna was a little pumpkin, Ben a pirate, Carter a cowboy, and Nolan an impromptu Sponge Bob. The kids figured out pretty quickly about trick or treating. Nolan thought the idea was swell and we managed to cart around his Sponge Bob all weekend--just in case we might come across someone who might have more candy. The leaves have fallen and the cooler temperatures are here. The kids really enjoy playing in the leaves. We are looking forward to Turkey Day. We have many things to be thankful for this year.
